Parkpoint Health Clubs has been a member of CCD for over 15 years. Over that time we have taken advantage of the many resources CCD has to offer—from group pricing discounts to seminars; resource information to camaraderie/networking with other club managers/dept. heads.
I can’t tell you how many times I will be sitting in a meeting with a group of our managers and we have a question about something and we say “ let’s just check with CCD, they will know the answer or know where we can find it”. Of course we use IHRSA as a resource as well, but CCD is the first place we go.
We have sent many of our managers to the seminars, which provide a great opportunity for our managers and dept. heads to learn and grow. And the great thing is that they are sitting next to someone who is dealing with many of the same issues they are.
We have also been able to take advantage of the group pricing for our Worker’s compensation, which has saved us a tremendous amount of money over the years.
The great thing about CCD (and in particular Lin Conrad) is that the relationship feels more like one you would have with a co-worker than just another impersonal resource.
Our relationship with CCD is one our most valued resources!
